One of the couples who attend our congregation is Nate and Ashley Falk. The Current recently interviewed the Falk’s. In the photo above are Ashley and Nate and their children, Layton and Tatum.
What are your occupations?
We are both Family Medicine Physicians. Ashley recently left the Air Force and will soon start as a faculty member for the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine. Nate is still in the Air Force and will be heading to Washington DC to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship in July for the next year.
What do you enjoy doing?
Ashley enjoys sewing, running, soccer, and being outside. Nate enjoys basketball (and just about any other sport...), running, and music (both vocal and instrumental).
Tell us about your children and what they like to do.
Tatum is four years old and likes playing Ponies, princesses, and school. She also likes being outside and playing soccer. Layton is 20 months and all boy! He loves trucks, cars, animals, and anything involving a ball.
What drew you to Papio Creek?
Initially, it was primarily the location. We moved to Papillion about one week prior to the church opening, and have been here since that opening Sunday.
What do you like about Papio Creek?
We love the intimate family feel and close relationships we have been able to form. We came from a church that was pushing 2,000 members and never had that feeling there. We also love the casual, "come as you are" atmosphere.
How are you involved with Papio Creek?
Ashley serves in the nursery and has been a greeter in the past. Nate has served in music, the men's ministry, and as a member of the Focus Team.
What is your vision for Papio Creek?
Our vision is continued growth and service within Papillion and the surrounding community. We believe Papio Creek should continue to explore ways to serve families and children in the area.
